When I met these two that flew all way from Vancouver for our engagement session in the Farmleigh House I knew that I was in for a treat! They were so lovely and cute and filled with excitement for their day that I couldn’t wait for the big day!
They had their wedding in Kilshane House which is a fantastic luxury venue in Tipperary that every corner looking straight out of a dream, their orangery in particular is one of my faves, but other than a stunning venue, Kilshane House has another great feature that it’s the reason why I get so excited when I shoot there: they have two adorable pugs that the owners kindly allow me to hug and kiss when I go there!!! If you don’t know I have a slight obsession for pugs and tend to hug every pug I see, lol!
Back to the wedding, the day started and oh boy Daryll’s girl squad was just amazing! Such a lively group of ladies that were so keen to help (they were involved in a lot of details for the day, I heard) and we got to take some fun bridal party photos, the boys were maybe a tad less helpful but so fun to be around too!
From the church ceremony back to the venue we were quite blessed with the weather and we managed to take some beautiful portraits at Kilshane rain free, hooray! If you are having your wedding there, I highly recommend exploring the venue for portraits, there’s so much option.
Fast forward to the night time when Daryll look stunning on her second dress and we get to see some a-mazing fireworks display! Can all weddings have fireworks, please? To finish off we got back inside for some awesome dancing, and when I say awesome, I mean it! Their friends and family were one of the most fun dance floors I seen all year!!!!
Hope you like the images as much as I do xx

O.M.G. 2018 was one to remember! (Also, Happy Valentine’s Day!!!)
Like last year, I decided to celebrate the “most romantic day of the year” by celebrating the love, happiness and all in between that I was so blessed to capture last year.
Being a wedding photographer for me has allowed me to meet so many beautiful souls, get to see so many moments that will be forever favourites in someone’s life and I don’t take this for granted!
I’m so grateful that I get to call this a job, that I get to see human nature at its best where people share their love, tears and all that comes with it in the most honest way.
That’s the joy of weddings, it’s all about the people.
In a time where social media makes everything looks perfect and the same I get to see beauty in every shape and form and love being the common denominator to all that.
When I say to my couples: “it’s about about having fun and being in the moment”I really mean it and I think 2018 was the perfect example., just watch the video and you will understand why.
I hope you enjoy this images as much as I do.
To all my 2018 couples, I couldn’t have done without you! The way you allow me in and invited me to your day is what made last year unforgettable for me and for that I’m forever grateful.
To all future couples, I can’t wait to make 2019 even better ! Let’s have some fun!
Are you looking for having engagement photos taken but hate the idea of doing them?
Do you love the city vibe and would love to do an engagement session in Dublin? Are you having a country side or beach wedding and would love to shoot something in the city? So you need to check this pre wedding shoot with these two cuties!
If you seen some of my work you know I work around Dublin City Centre quite a lot and this session is a good example of how we can find something cool and fun to do in Dublin and have some great photos.
Hope you like them! x
Storm Emma is in full force outside so why not go back to lovely September and check this amazing intimate and alternative wedding in Tinakilly House?
When they contacted me the first thing they said was: we LOVE photos! To be honest I'm not that used to hearing that so it definitely sparkled my attention. They said that they were having a very intimate wedding and that her family and a small group of friends were coming from America and their budget focus was to get cool, fun pictures of their day (that's why I freaking love my clients!) so on the day oh boy, these two delivered!
They told me to be completely free and as creative as I wanted, we end up doing a first look (which is something that here in Ireland I don't see happing that much - but I absolutely love it) and we had a great time!
We also split the couples portraits in two sections so at night we could do some more alternative ones and that also meant they could spend more time with their guests (which I'm all about)!.
Some of my favourite moments was when one of the bridesmaids actually took the brides vows from her bra, so funny! The bridesmaids were actually fab and when the bride's wedding dress needed some last minute alteration (5 minutes before the ceremony) they came to the rescue and with scissors in hands they made it perfect!
I hope you enjoy this wedding, it's a representation of how many cool photos you can get when you let yourself be creative and to have fun on your day! (The night shots are one of my favourites I ever took!)
Venue: Tinakilly House
Liz found me through a photographer friend that shared my love for pugs (who knew pugs would get me new customers?! That's one more reason why pugs are the best, lol!) and we hit if off instantly! She decided to Elope in Ireland and wanted a wedding photographer that could capture their elopement the way they dreamed of and I couldn't be happier to have been a part of it!
Then the Hurricane Ophelia came one day before their big day and we didn't give up! Although her makeup artist didn't show up I, who am slightly obsessed with makeup, did my best to help out, but Liz was such a bad ass and took charge! Surprisingly the weather was lovely and full of sunshine and no fallen trees were in our way so the rest of the day went smooth.
From their intimate ceremony in Cork just with their parents to stopping on the way while we drove back to Dublin we managed to capture some of the beauty Ireland has to offer like the ruins of the Rock of Cashel, which is just stunning! Please have a look through the end of this post and check how stunning those surrounding are!
If you are thinking about eloping I say: be prepared for the things you can't predict, open your hearts and embrace the moment because it's magical and totally worth it!!
Hope you all enjoy the images xx
